The Thorold serves the neighbouring villages of Hougham and Marston as well as the wider community in the surrounding countryside of Lincolnshire, and the nearby counties of Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. The shop offers a great selection of food, groceries, wine, everyday essentials, and locally sourced produce. You'll find fresh bread, milk, cakes, vegetables, meats and eggs to name but a few items - most supplied by local bunsiness. We're always on the lookout for volunteers to help run the shop, contact us if you can spare a few hours!

Post Office
The Thorold operates a regular weekly outreach Post Office on Wednesdays. The hours are posted here and coincide with the Café making it also a culinary and social occassion!
Return that broken Amazon gadget, buy some stamps, and withdraw a few quid from your bank account to fund a delicious slice of cake and a freshly brewed coffee. Maybe hang around and take in a delicious light Lunch?

Coffee Shop
The Thorold opens its doors on Wednesday mornings and serves a Coffee Shop menu which offers locally sourced Stokes's Coffee from Lincoln and delicious home-made cakes. Lunch follows at midday. However coffees and teas are always available during pub opening hours.
