The Thorold is newly refurbished and re-opened in late 2019. It is a community-owned pub with B&B rooms, restaurant, café, and shop.
It is set in the picturesque village of Marston within the heart of the Lincolnshire Countryside.
We're easy to reach by foot, car and pedal-power.
7 miles from Grantham, 10 from Newark, close to the A1 and on the Viking Way long-distance footpath.
The Thorold Pub
We are a family and dog friendly country pub offering a wide variety of locally sourced dining options along with a selection of cask ales, wines, sprirts and other beverages.

Restaurant
We offer a varied, seasonal and good value menu, catering for most tastes. We source our produce from local suppliers making our food offering as fresh as possible, helping to minimise "food miles", and also support local trade and small businesses!

With Thanks
The Thorold would not exist without the enormous contributions to the project of money, time, unpaid work, and goods & services, often provided free of charge or at "mates rates" by our many and varied supporters. Hopefully, we have been comprehensive in our mentions - but please get in touch with any changes or omissions.
